"We had a great family weekend here. The home was extremely well positioned, just off the High Street, so convenient for shopping and restaurants. It is located down a narrow lane, at the end of which is a parking bay for one car. We found everything we needed for 5, cooking and eating in the house, as well as in local restaurants. "Wonderful old house on great surrounds, although off a busy road. Unfortunately, kitchen not up to standard due to cleanliness and overall dirt everywhere. Oven desperately needs a good clean. Also plagued with flies seemingly living within the wall cervices. We enjoyed our stay after giving the place (kitchen in particular) a good clean."

"Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host.
