"A lovely cottage very well presented. Matthew was really helpful and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with a barbecue and glass of wine in the warm evening sunshine after a day at the races. The low ceilings took a little getting used to but added to the quirkiness and atmosphere of the cottage. The downstairs shower we shared was excellent with plenty of hot water for everyone. "We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. "My wife and I and another couple loved staying at Mallard Cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the laundry with a clothes dryer was really appreciated. The living area enjoyed floor to ceiling glass looking out on a sunny, relaxing garden which sloped down to the fast flowing river. It was a short walk in to the centre of the city. Hosts, David and Deepti, were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this cottage to others."

There are however a few things that would have made a vast improvement to the property considering the cost to rent. The sitting room could do with more and better seating. My studio faced the back of the building which meant i got the sunshine but not the street noise.
