"A peaceful and relaxing simple retreat. Old style ryokan with tatami mats etc. We used the men only onsen and were basically alone in there. It was very clean and hot. Perfect. Also they offered complimentary coffee, tea and ramen cup. They provided everything we needed for using the baths. "

The sound on rushing water from the rapids nearby gave a soothing feeling. The service staff coordination was great too, when you arrive or checked out, they will ask for your name or room number, then inform recep or the car assistant to prepare your keys. Things which were not great 1/ food at the buffet was often cold or like warm,other than soup. 2/ would have been nicer if it were kaiseki"
