"Had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the fujiyama base. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. It was just a couple of minutes from the train station so that was a big plus. Would consider staying there again if we were in the area. "

"the room was very tidy and welcoming. the host was so kind and courteous and made us feel very at home. i wish we could have stayed longer! the lodging is quiet and peaceful. i will definitely return here when i have the chance. thank you for the lovely memories!!! the view of fuji on a clear day is out of this world. "

"My husband and I stayed at Hostel Saruya for one night as part of our honeymoon trip to Japan. We are an active couple in our early 30’s who were looking for a Japanese homestay experience near Mt. "Loved the stay at Kounso. The room was spacious and had extra bedding that could be used to fit your preference. I was not sure about the shared bath, but each room reserves time slots, so you do not bath with strangers. I loved the cypress bath, it was perfect after a long day. I chose not to use the room heater because of the kerosene smell. Instead, the kotatsu table kept me plenty warm for this time of year. "小菅村を理解した上で泊まること。周辺施設は数軒のみ。17時頃には閉店。施設は築約150年の古民家を改造しているため、天井や柱が低く頭をぶつけやすい。夏は特に虫も出やすい。だが、スタッフの方や村の方たちがでの一生懸命サービスを提供して頂けて大満足。また行きたい。 "

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"The staff are very accomodating and very welcoming. They picked us up from and sent us to the train station for free. They offered us ( 5 people) a ride with a ¥2000 fee to lake kawaguchi. They also offered to pick us up from the Fujikawaguchiko masjid back to the guesthouse for the same rate later that night but they did not turn up . Instead, they told us to get our own taxi as they have picked up another customer. Luckily we got a help from the masjid cafe staff who called a taxi for us. We...

"初めて宿坊に宿泊写経や瞑想ができます。朝はお祓いをすると講中安全の守り札を授けてくださいます。内風呂、露天風呂もあり（浴衣の柄は選べます。ボディーシャンプー、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ブラシ、綿棒、バスタオル×１、手ぬぐいタオル×１あり、垢すりなし＝宿泊用を持って行って正解）夕食や朝食は大山の豆腐料理をとても美味しくいただきました。ただ一つ冷蔵庫がありませんでした（アンケートに記載しました）周辺には飲料の自販機がありますが、コンビニはありません（部屋には温かいお茶あり）それを知っていたので、オヤツは下山時にこま参道で芋ようかんや餅まんじゅうを購入。また宿に向かう下り坂の途中に良弁まんじゅうのお店があり単品で購入。美味しくいただきました。お陰様で素敵な大山参りができました。また機会があれば泊まりたい宿坊です。（Expediaで予約できる大山の宿坊は今のところココだけかも知れませんね）ありがとうございます（感謝）"
