"Booked to meet a friend at short notice. The staff were charming and very friendly. The room was extremely clean warm and comfortable. I think we will be making a habit of staying at the Jamaica Inn as it’s equal distance between Great Torrington and Falmouth where we each live and it enables us to meet up more often with our very busy working schedules. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."

"Really pleased to have stayed here when on an overnight trip to Exeter. Had a lovely dinner in the evening in the restaurant. It was busy with all the Christmas groups but had a really good atmosphere and we were served quickly even though busy. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Slept really well. It was nice being just outside Exeter and had a wander around small town and along the quayside before leaving. Would definitely stay again, with the friendly team looking after...

"The room was very cosy and clean. The bed was comfy and we both slept really well (in part because it was so quiet too). Massive TV with all streaming services available, tea and coffee making facilities and a powerful electric shower. The room could do with a little bit of touching up and maintenance but this was greatly outweighed by everything mentioned above. We had a few drinks in the pub both nights we were there and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious car park available...

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck. "The hotel is very central and very close to the shops. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Being able to reserve a disabled parking space means that we don’t have to worry about being able to park. On our arrival, receptionist Gemma helped my friend with moving our luggage from the front entrance to reception. This really helped my friend as I have mobility difficulties and am not able to help. I would also like to mention, Rachel, Gracie, Carly, Nicky and Patrick for all their help and kindness. The staff are an asset to the hotel, and the reason that we will be booking to stay again. "
