"We enjoyed staying at the cottage. It had everything we needed & we were very comfortable.I was very disappointed that someone let themselves in to empty the bins when collection wasnt due & did so unescorted & without asking..this should not have happened"

"The property was perfect for a couple breakaway. Village was extremely pretty with a fantastic pub two minutes walk away. The food was home cooked and plentiful (real ales and great wine list) ate there most nights. The cottage had everything you needed and the owner couldnt have been any nicer or more accommomodating. Little village shop which had most things and the villagers were lovely. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at Beagle Cottage in March for 4 nights with our 2 dogs- what a lovely house, really spectacular views, great garden and really well equipped kitchen and amenities.We loved sitting in the sunny living space, we were able to sit in the garden overlooking Bude and the coast, the beds were comfy & cosy.The local pub is great (booking advised!) and it’s really conveniently located for Bude and the surrounding destinations.We will be back! "The cute, cosy cottage was warm, welcoming, immaculately clean and very well-equipped - a real home-from-home! Shaldon is a picturesque seaside village with a smattering of fab eateries and cute, independent shops. Also well-situated with good transport links to Teignmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Dartmoor. Carol was a lovely host who sent clear check-in instructions. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"The house really is as lovely as it looks in photos. It is small but perfectly sufficient for two people. The property is situated on a quiet street with many lovely independent shops, cafés and pubs nearby. Our host was also very friendly and helpful through the booking and check in process. "The property was just beautiful with everything you needed. The pool table allowed for some competitive family evenings and the hot tub meant we could relax and take in the breathtaking views! The beach was right on the doorstep with some wonderful coastal walks to keep the dogs entertained. The surrounding villages had some incredible restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus with the area being so dog friendly they could enjoy the holiday as much as we did. Would definitely love to go...

"We've just returned from an amazing stay in Barn End Cottage. On arrival we were welcomed with some delicious home made scones and locally produced cider which got our trip off to the perfect start. The accomodation itself is gorgeous and has a very traditional cottage style, but comes with all modern amenities plus the added bonus of a gaming room which my daughter loved. The cottage literally has everything you need and more for a perfect holiday (one day we had fresh popcorn for breakfast...

"Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs)."
