Sam's, Rooks Coffee, restaraunts galore; it was perfect for eating before fasting after midnight too! And after my family member checked in for their surgery; I was able to spend a few hours in comfortable peace at thr hotel before having to check out. It couldn't be more stress-free. "

"Overall a lovely stay at this property. Rooms on cosy/ small side but fine for couple of nights and it was just me. Rooms warm and everything worked. I was on ground floor along from breakfast room which meant it sometimes got quite noisy with other guests coming in and out. There was in issue with door lock when I arrived but this was fixed very quickly, which I appreciated. Breakfast was good although I would suggest perhaps leaving some things for guests to combine to their tastes. On 2 mornings the fruit had yogurts pre poured over which meant I couldn't eat them, perhaps just leave the components for guests to choose how to serve. Tea and coffee available all day which was great and no issues parking outside property (although I was there in low season). Used the free bikes one day, nice to have, but would suggest they might need a little maintenance on the breaks! All in all a lovely stay and would have no hesitation in staying again. "
