We had a great stay in Asbury Park mostly in part to the absolute convenience and awesome staff at Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. Shout out to Dan, at the front desk, who was absolutely professional and helpful on every level. Highly recommended, we will definitely return to Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel.

The hotel charged $428 a night, for a room that had wallpaper falling off the walls and no microwave. The chest refrigerator was on the floor not even on a cabinet. The sprinkler head trim was hanging from the ceiling. Then they charge you $100 a day to park your car or you have to park on the street for $3/hr. Then there was a domestic fight in the hallway @2am that lasted for an hour with no intervention from hotel staff or police. Then when we checked out the staff at the desk just took our room keys and handed us a receipt. They never asked how our stay was, or if everything went well with our stay, nothing!!

I think paying $75 per night to park when staying at the hotel is a little high. Maybe $75 for the 2 day stay makes a little more sense.
