"Place was as described. Plenty of room for my family and close to our daughter at Westmont. Space and amenities were convenient. Property next to freeway and busy road. But sound machine in the bedrooms drown out the noise. Didn’t bother us. "

"We loved our 3-day stay in this charming, clean, comfortable little cottage. The layout, location and amenities were perfect for our family of four, including two college-age kids. Summerland is a cute town with a number of upscale shops, and a few restaurants, and it’s an easy drive to surfing spots, Montecito and Santa Barbara. The only drawback - as mentioned by other reviewers - is the location on a frontage road adjacent to 101 - so there is definitely significant highway noise. We had one...

"We are two families of four with four teen/tween girls and we travel together often. We love a spot to hang out, chat and let the girls be silly and a bit independent-this house was perfect for that. It’s winter so we had to get cozy in the living room/kitchen but the girls took over the main bed room (a king bed plus two double pull outs and their own bathroom!) and we adults had our own space to relax. "This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful house with such good sleeping and living spaces, and many other amenities, including an awesome kitchen. It is just a few doors down from the beach, and directly across from a park. The property manager is great to work with and communicates before, during and after the stay, as needed."

"Brought elderly (80+) parents and kids for a short getaway. The location was “senior friendly” (bedrooms on first floor, steps to the sand and nice umbrella and table to eat outdoors) and “teen friendly” (beach, sand, games) — everyone had a wonderful time. "The house was perfect for our family to spend the holidays in Ventura. The view from atop the city was amazing - we watched the sea mist roll in and out over the city and the raptors flying over and around the house from the amazing deck. The guitar and piano provided a wonderful outlet for us. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms great, and the open plan upper level perfect for us and our family to enjoy the New Year."
