"The room was clean and the amenities were good. What made this an amazing stay was the staff. After voicing a noise concern created by other guests, we tried to get our room location changed. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked and the staff was unable to accommodate us. We asked if it was possible to get a refund. "The water park was very toddler friendly, it was nice to have food close with deals in your room given by the hotel, my only complaint was no workout area. I walked up and down the whole building just to get my steps in. "

"If you’ve stayed at AmericInns before, this one is pretty much like the others. Beautiful view of LakeSuperior and the shoreline is right out the door! There’s also a small water park attached but they are in the process of taking out the slides and it was only open on weekends. The property is located on the edge of town, but dining is just a short drive away. Check out BlackCat coffee and Ashland BakingCompany for goodies in town!"

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"
