"This place is so special. So well stocked, maintained and clean. Perfect for families as well as a group of friends. The location is right by shops and restaurants (walking distance if you don’t mind the small hill back up.) We loved it and will go back! "

"It was quiet and beautiful. The cabin is definitely rustic, although has all the amenities you want, (wifi, dishwasher, etc.) There is a gorgeous nature preserve close by, and I took walks and did an enormous jigsaw puzzle while feeling like I was in a treehouse. "

"Very cozy retreat with comfy beds and quiet to sleep to. We didn't cook, but did notice that there were ample supplies in the kitchen. The best part was the fireplace. We sat on the couch and stoked the fire all evening. It was so relaxing. Our host was very attentive and gave very clear directions."

"Cabin had beautiful views and great location for getting to lovely drives and nice trails to explore. House set up nicely for two couples with private and shared space. Kitchen needed better pans and hot tub was of no use. Needs some shelter."

"Our VRBO rental on Lopez Island was a very relaxing place. It was easy to find, The property was in a beautiful secluded spot on the island. Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. "We love this little cabin--it's the two of us and we enjoy doing our own cooking. It's cozy and there are delightful sitting areas both in the sun and on the porch. "

"Beautiful home and view of Mt. Baker. We had a septic issue that our host was right on top of and it was resolved that day. The microwave oven also stopped working, but again it was taken care of right away. It was perfect for us and our family. "

"[oct24] This place looks just like the pictures. Let's talk about the grounds-GORGEOUS! Like a visitor center it's so beautiful. We didn't get to use the firepit (too wet/cold) and I was so bummed. We bought Jakes wood to burn in the stove instead. Had everything we needed (except a cooler-we left a new one behind for future guests!) for making meals, doing laundry and seating outside for chilling-quite literally but I love being outdoors! "We loved the cabin with all its beautiful interior updates. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were exceptional. The kitchen has almost everything we needed. A cozy and special place to just hang or use as a base to head up to Mt. Baker. "

"The Beach cabin had all the amenities for us to hideaway for a relaxing weekend. There was a grocery store near by and then all the cookware/utensils we needed to make our own meals. I loved the assortment of games as well! We wish we had instructions for the hot tub, but fumbled our way through it."

"We had a great and relaxing time! Kitchen is well stocked and home is clean inside and out. We were able to operate the grill and hot tub easily. Would definitely stay again!"

"The “Cabin” is more like a house. The lake is breathtaking. The place couldn’t be nicer. We took 3 WSU students to play hockey against WWU. It was prefect! Thanks for sharing you beautiful place. "

"The property was in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Im not used to neighbors as close as they were but it was a quiet neighborhood which we tried to maintain also. The house was well appointed with most everything you'd need to prepare a meal, just be sure to purchase cooking spray and plastic wrap or tin foil if they are going to be needed. And definitely don't attempt the driveway from a right hand turn, being there I can see why those instructions are given. "

Great choice!

"We lost power due to a windstorm and decided to head for the hills. We booked our trip last minute. This was our first Time at the property and we will definitely be back! The breakfast food was surprisingly good and had variety. The toiletries were really nice. All in all a GREAT trip! The ONLY thing we would have changed was the bed. The mattress was soft for us. Not a deal breaker but we were a lottlencreaky in the morning. And other than a sheet there was no other protection, such as a waterproof cover, on the mattress. My wife is a bit of a germaphobe - she’s in healthcare so that happens. "
