"Under floor heating was such a treat. Full kitchen, Miele dishwasher & coffee machine very handy. Hamper was actually very generous with Josef Chromy wine & Tassie chocolate. Will definitely stay again & told everyone about these premium cabins. "

"Liked having the local wildlife on our step. A wombat tried to join us inside. We saw a pademelon and currawong. So curious. Dined up the road at the Tavern. We went early and avoided the rush. Was nice to have a log fire as the temperature went right down."

"Travelled with my partner one night only, it was a great place to stay. Nice walk in the surroundings where you could see some wild life. The breakfast was included wich was great, delicious selection of everything. Dinner a bit expensive but lovely for a 1 night thing. The place is a bit outdated and can be a bit noisy when people are walking in thw corridor due to the wood floor."

"Strahan Village is a great little complex, it could do with a bit of TLC, the building where we weee staying looked almost derelict, turned out it isn’t! Our room was basic almost student flat accommodation, however it was only for the one night. The food and staff made up for all the other short comings. "

"The interior of the property suited the exterior - a period piece of excellence. Staff were great, the area quiet and peaceful - just what we wanted. A perfect location for the railway and river cruise journey's that again were both excellent (recommended)."
