Delightful stay and so lovely to literally footsteps to the national park. We caught the bus from the ranger station which was just a few steps from the front door. The only thing that would improve this location would be an EV charging station at the lodge.

Location is excellent as it’s near the national park & there are trails surrounding the property. It is however very dated and a renovation to all cabins is way over due. The bistro tavern onsite closes by 8.30 pm, would be nice to have it extended till 9.30 pm at least during summer.

The staff at the restaurant for dinner were great. I even ordered a log cake in advance, and the chef specially made one for me and it was one of the best log cakes I had in a very long time.

It is a gorgeous hotel and the food is amazing! I wish you could have stayed longer than 1 night. The wildlife around the cabins is abundant and so cool to watch! Do a night walk! My only suggestion is to work on customer service, the gentleman checking us in was a bit rude and wouldn’t let me speak. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Great rustic property with gas fire heater in the room. Ample of space, with a large table which came in handy. Bathroom was basic, but clean, with ample of hot water, great water pressure in the shower. Bedding was comfortable. Note cabins are spread out around the property grounds. If you’re staying in the more distant cabins, it could take a few minutes uncovered walk to the main building. Not an issue, given many stay for hiking nearby, but just being mindful for some others.
