"Nice, clean, quiet place. Friendly staff. The bed was a bit uncomfortable hence the lower score. Not sure if that was just the mattress in our room, if it was just not what we are used to or what? Someone else may think it's the most comfortable. Also, even though the place is kept nice and clean, you could tell it had a little wear & tear from use and age. Overall, we would stay here again and hope for a different mattress."

"Good experience overall, pretty good breakfast, and everything was clean and well taken care of. My only complaint would be how thin the pillows were, but that is a personal preference. "

"Everybody we encountered was very pleasant and almost everything was very clean. However, our bathroom floor had sticky lines as if there had been duct tape on it for quite a while. Our towels were rough. (Another would have been nice for my hair but that’s not a big deal.) Otherwise everything about the place was excellent. Loved the coffee!! Breakfast was good - the eggs were better than most “eggs in a chafing dish”! I loved the azalea bushes in bloom. It was a beautiful surprise at this time...

"Excellent! Especially if you are going on the BR train ride. It’s within walking distance to the depot and the restaurant/bar in the hotel was a wonderful place to eat and view downtown Blue Ridge! Staff and rooms were terrific. Loved it!!"
