We hoped to check in early as we were attending a wedding - but were told they were short-staffed, so no early check-in; they would leave a key at the front desk. "The property itself is nice and well maintained. The problem was that the woman who did our check-in does not seem happy with her job. She did not tell anything about the hotel and amenities, which spoiled our two night stay. At check-out, the experience was quite the oposite, but it was too late. Dangerous work (big trees being cut) was undertaken, without any notice from the hotel. Also, our room was in an annex (cosy and charming), which should be clearly mentioned, given the cold weather....
