"Our stay went very well , the hotel was better than expected . The building has charcter and somewhat prestigious. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was good , not too many options but was alwys hot, clean and delicious. Rooms are spacious and washeooms are roomy and elegant . Overall , we enjoyed our stay ."

"Well, those that know me would say that I had died and gone to heaven at the Outdoorsman Motel. What a lovely, comfortable place. The knotty pine and cabin motif add to your vacation vibe, but it is the management that made it heaven. "The staff is amazing at this hotel and excellent service. The building is very nicely updated and they are making every effort to maintain it. Just location downtown meant that we did have several drunk people trying to get into our room by mistake but that isnt the hotels issue. They have one entrance to hotel from front lobby at night to try to keep issues to a minimum (I think?). Thisnis the second time we have stayed at this hotel. "We have stayed at this property many times in the last year or so as we go to North Bay to check on family. As usual our stay was great but we did have an issue with the bathroom door - it scrapes along the floor every time the door is opened or shut and is quite a nuisance at night when trying to be quiet."

"The stay was ok it was the check in that was …awful. The situation could’ve been hadled a millions times better. As the front staff female attendant was very brut to try to understand the situation and explain a solution calmly. Getting pushed aside doesn’t not mean a customer understands and maybe offering options could’ve helped "
