"Our family group of 10 stayed in the Northern Nest for a trip skiing at Crystal Mountain, which is about 12 minutes away. The home is very nice and well laid out for our group size. Nestled into the woods beside the Betsie River, this place is a 10/10! The owner is very quick communicating and was great to work with as well! We will be back this summer to do some kayaking!"

" Our family had an incredible stay at this rustic yet beautiful log cabin near Traverse City. The cabin has a charming, rustic ambiance that immediately made us feel at home, but it also boasts a newly remodeled and well-appointed kitchen, which made preparing family meals a breeze.One of the highlights was the huge fireplace—it became the centerpiece of our evenings as we sat around it drinking hot chocolate. "Very clean but not true to pics. Not much for chairs for relaxing other than sofa. Beds took up most of bedroom. Shows fireplace but non working. Communication was great. Thank you"

"We had another wonderful stay at the cabin. This is our third year in a row coming to the same cabin. The management was very helpful when we realized the hot tub was not heating. The breaker was actually off so it was an easy fix. Everything was very clean, as usual. We even had a late checkout on the last day so we could soak up every last minute of vacation. We can't wait to go back again next year!"

If visiting in wintertime, the association did a great job shoveling and plowing the streets! We would definitely stay again! "

"The cabin was unclean. Cobwebs everywhere dead flowers in a vase near the kitchen. All four corner of the shower had large cob webs in them. Dead bugs in the bathroom sink. AND THE SMELL!!! Mold or mildew or just plain gross! If the cabin had been sanitary all be it small it would have been an enjoyable stay. The host who lives 20 feet from the front door has "junk" piled up between the buildings. Surprised VRBO put their name to this cabin."
