We walked to the park and water directly across the street from us to explore and play. At the cabin the boys loved that they had outdoor games, like football and crochet, and inside we played some family rounds of candyland. From a mom's perspective, I loved that this cabin also had an infant packNplay to make bedtime easy for the baby. Checkin was super easy and communication...

"We had a great stay with our family group of 9. We appreciated that the cabin was set up to accommodate that many-plenty of dishes, enough seating at the table, and even enough room to all gather and relax by the fire in the living room. The location is great as well. We enjoyed walks in the woods on the property, playing corn hole and football outside, and visiting nearby Glen Arbor for shopping, wine tasting, and hiking. We called the property manager and they came out immediately and fixed it. I would suggest another couch on the back wall in the living room instead of the chair, as a few of us were not able to get comfy while watching tv (football) in the evenings. Our older kids were able to walk to/from the Buck lift, though we typically drove as the walk is a little long carrying gear. We would stay here again! "

Thompsonville has great dining too. We visited iron fish distillery for a tasting and a snack. The food was AMAZING. We also explored crystal mountain to dine for dinner as well as took the 10 minute drive to Benzonia to shop and check out the new casino "
