"Wonderful property and staff. Dining and drink options were good, although buying the breakfast package through Expedia required a follow-up with the hotel after receiving the breakfast bill. Would definitely recommend Kohler for a weekend getaway."

"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."

"While everything in the room was very clean, some areas of the room showed some wear and tear. Other areas of hotel showed some missing trim, incomplete projects, and wear and tear but not inconvenient for guests. Room was smaller than expected from pictures but had everything you'd need--even mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was provided but some food items were stale. Overall I felt I got my money's worth and would consider spending a night or two there again."

"Well this is the first time we were not to happy with the new owners. We choose the resort because its a half way point. We enjoy what you offer. The staff was excellent and you put them in a position to let us know no pool, no service with tv.no change for laundry, no restaurant. We were there 5 nights four days. We travel from Wisconsin to Illinois and back. Either stay closed until your properly prepared. If it wasn't for the staff I would have nothing good to say. Staff excellent!!!!"
