"We booked this property on short notice to stay overnight while skiing at Gore Mountain. We did not have high expectations, however, it turned out we booked a valuable place for a very good price. The 5 stars review is relative to the price we paid and what the place had to offer on such short notice. Absolutely clean and well maintained place. It’s very likely we’ll return this season."

"Charlie and Yolanda were very accommodating!The downstairs game room, lounge and kitchen was fantastic for my sons and friends to hang out and the hot tub was great after a full day of snowboarding. Location is only 20 min from Gore and West Mountain. Was very clean and had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 12 of us. Would definately stay there again!"

"We stayed Aug 17-24. Even with the weather being not so great we had a great time. The house has everything you need. It was spotless and very comfortable. We managed to get in a few games of Cornhole and enjoyed the fire pit at night. My daughters went out in the canoe. It’s a beautiful spot on the lake with a nice little beach and dock. My nephew caught a nice size fish right off the dock. Amy was so nice and very accommodating. We had no issues on our trip at all. "

"Coffee pot was not cleaned, 2 nd floor full bed has an old mattress and they said that they rolled into the middle. It’s an overall nice woodsy cabin. We would stay there again knowing what we’re in store for. A very fair price, with an excellent location to lake George and Gore mountain. Dogs welcome is a plus also "

"We stayed at the property with our family and two other families. We have nine kids ages 4-14 between the three families. The adults and kids LOVED the house. The game room kept the kids entertained all weekend. They enjoyed the bunk bed rooms as well. The house was so clean as was the hot tub. The hosts provided the basics like toilet paper, soap and other toiletries in case we forgot. Towels for showers and the hot tub were provided as well. "This cabin had a large floor plan with lots of space for our family to gather. Large dining table for meals and board games, lots of seating around the fireplace and tv area. The bedrooms were all good size and accommodated four adults and teens. The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and responsive."

"It was the absolute worst stay I've ever had. I've rented 50 plus houses and this was terrible!!! Vacausa is terrible at fixing broken things in a house, they just want your money. It started out with the hot water breaking the first night. We called and emailed and were told it was going to be fixed. Of course it wasn't. The next night the heat broke and of course never fixed. Avoid vacausa like the plague!!! If I could.give them a 0 rating I would!!!"

"What an amazing place to stay, was pleasantly surprised at how much the home had to offer with the upper and lower level there was plenty of room for the family to move about and not be on top of each other. The pool was amazing too, the property owners were great and very efficient the one time we had a question they were right there to help us out. Definitely a place we will come back to next year. "We ski at Gore every year and decided to stay a little further away from the mtn. It’s a 20min drive and was well worth it. The house was spotless and had plenty of room. Loved the two loving area with the TV NOT in the main room so we could unplug. Easy to bring in stuff from the car as you park right by the front door. Just be careful with the steep slope of the driveway that goes to the lake for a boat launch. Need a good 4 wheel drive car to get up the driveway in the snow and ice if not...
