"The wear & tear is evident at this iconic hotel, but it has it's charm. It has undergone a facelift & someone devoted some artistic energy for it. Loved the beautiful wood paneling on some of the walls. The bright colored exteriors remind me of a european village. For a budget hotel the basics are covered with a dash of flair. The towels were small but clean & hefty & plenty of hot water."

"Gorgeous setting and beautifully stylish rooms made this a wonderful, unique stay. Staff were friendly and let us have a late checkout which was appreciated. Loved the whole vibe. However. Parking lot lights were left on all night which hampered star gazing. Coffee was not available at the stated time, and it was very disappointing to find that there was zero option for breakfast before 10am, and then just a bar room burrito. "

"This is an older motor lodge style hotel that has been thoughtfully updated with a fun Palm Springs style. I was looking for an inexpensive option while on business and this hit the price point I was looking for. Yes, it doesn't have the amenities that a larger resort has, but the hotel staff were friendly, made sure my room was clean, and made my stay a very good one. "My stay was quick at Adana, but it did exactly what I needed it to do. The woman at the front desk was very personable and so sweet. We got to our room, and it hadn’t been cleaned yet, so she upgraded us to the king room. The property is a bit dated, but for a short stay, it was great."

"Beautiful resort. Nice pools. The studio was a bit cramped in kitchen area and they did not refill the coffee when room was cleaned (midway through our stay). We also had to request more bath/shower wash because initially it was just water in the container! Would stay here again though. Close to lots of conveniences. "

Very pleased with my stay

"I was very happy with my stay at the Dunes. It looked clean and modern, and it was evident that updates had been made recently. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of seating. The location was also great -- a short walk to downtown, and there was an excellent grocery store right across the street. My one minor complaint was that the workout room was small and limited in its offerings."

"there was a plumbing issue at the hotel but the hotel staff and management did a great job in accommodating our needs and making us feel comfortable. I believe technical issues happen anywhere and anytime but the way the staff handle the issues is important, which this hotel did an amazing job in this regards"
