"This quaint inn is very convenient to the downtown area and walkable to the train station. The room we’d originally booked had a ‘maintenance issue’ so we were told we were ‘upgraded’ to a Carriage House room. Loved that there a living area as well as a full kitchen (which we didn’t use), but the sliding glass door didn’t lock. We requested maintenance, but nothing was ever done. We had to improvise our own door stop with luggage racks. Bed was comfy and shower was hot with great pressure....

"We stayed in the Babe Ruth room. Kind of cool. Room was very small, we had to steal a chair from the lounge so we could watch TV together. Would not be good for skiers as there is nowhere to hang or dry gear. The heating system is very antiquated. We alternated between hot and cool over the night. "

"Pros: Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the king suite was much larger than expected. It was a great location, right in the heart of the outlet shopping and great restaurants. "Cute, vintage'y, room with shops and restaurants very nearby. Felt like staying at your Grandma's house. We only dealt with the front desk person and she was lovely and very accommodating when we wanted to check in early. Couple of things we noticed: all advertising for local and hotel events were very outdated- like from last year. The cleaning staff might want to dilute the Fabuloso as our room, while very clean, smelled so strongly of the cleaner that it made my throat burn. I would still...

"Building is 100+ years old, has the character of an older facility that has been updated to provide electrical, HVAC, and Wifi needs of modern user. Proprietor is very friendly, was very helpful in helping us set up a good itinerary for our two days there. Breakfast was excellent, prepared to order and of the highest quality.
