"I stayed there two times over 5 days, it was a nice space but was sort of old, had electrical issues with CPap (no outlets near end table and most were two prong) and narrow stairs and toilet was really low, stuff like that."

"A truly beautiful, hidden gem. We are still talking about the dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was lovely too. Very charming, intimate property. Would have liked to have known some rooms have TVs and others don't. I get it is a romantic getaway, but sometimes you want to watch a movie too!"

"We visited a friend in Durham and chose Silver Fountain instead of the Holiday Inn. What a joy! We arrived late, and when we opened the door, it was like walking into a dream! The decor and ambiance is so welcoming, historic, and gorgeous! We were very excited! Even nicer in person than the photos on the web site! The breakfast was plentiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the quiche and pear scone. I recommended it to our friend for other visitors, as well as for her to go for lunch or the murder...
