"This was a great place to stay in Newport. Convenient to lots of great restaurants and points of interest, we walked most everywhere we went. The pool access was great for our small kids who are ocean waders but not yet ocean swimmers. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed the roof access for sunrise and sunset."

Big disconnect between bookings through VRBO and the operations/management at the building, yet management was quite pleasant. It just made for some confusion upon check in and check out, including having cleaners show up and entering our room prior to check out! Overall great stay. Nice rooftop area to use, weather pending. "The room was great with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a small kitchen. The location was great a 5 minute walk from the wharfs in Newport. The check in process was the only thing that wasn't great. Did not have room ready at 4 as they were supposed to - no big deal, but when they finally called me around 4:30 to tell me that it was ready, there was a long line to check in. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
