"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"The bed is SO comfy. The view from the deck, and even inside the room, is beautiful. Chocolate chip cookies and fresh cut cantaloupe (along with other fruits)were waiting for me when I arrived and I’m not ashamed to say the cookies were gone in literally 10 minutes of my arrival 😳. Loved her homemade soap/lotion/oils as well and will be purchasing for gifts (and myself 🙂). "

"Everything was excellent including the price for the average in the area. Only concern was another room left their dog alone in their room and the dog barked continuously for hours. The barking could be heard in the entrance area at least 5 rooms away and there was nothing staff could do since the occupant was out. "

The surrounding area boasts a variety of delicious dining options, with standout recommendations like the Apple Cider at Brick Alley Pub and Restaurant (please try it !). It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable stay."
