"Its Clean. Remodeled inside. Old building outside. No elevator for people who cant use stairs.Good Wifi. Like a nice and clean motel 6 or best western. If you suffer from slight noise then its not for you. I dont have a problem with any noise so whatever works for you. Has balcony with 2 chairs and table "

"My family had a great time at this guest house. It was big, clean and peaceful. The owner Jay went out of his way to please us. Location is good, close to a lot of restaurants and close to the Night Bazaar. I will definitely stay there again. "

"Really great place to stay. The woman upon checking in was so lovely and helped us with everything we needed, from renting a scooter, obtaining a taxi to the airport, and extending our stay. On down side is on the 3rd floor it's quite noisy from the birds on the room (they start at 5am!). Main level room was much better. "

"We stayed at Kavil House for 5 nights and everything was great. The room was clean and the service was great. The location was spot on....near everything but quiet at night. Would recommend. "

"Not a very clean room with dirty slippers and dirty marks on the floor. Also a lots of ants. Its located off track road, very dirty and grimy. One day when we came back found our room door was left wide open with keys on the door. The hotels start rating is very questionable!"

"The host should be more welcoming on arrival, We basically received no greeting, only if we had a reservation, I found it rather strange, I would stay here again, but I would make sure he was more talkative on arrival."

"Lovely comfortable stay for solo travellers. Just off the main road and walking distance to old town and night bazar markets. Many tour companies near by to book excursions, the hotel also provides them but is cheaper to book off the main road. Everything was great with this place, hot water, tc, AC, kettle, towels and cleaning every day. Walls are pretty thin so you can hear of the neighbour has TV on etc but not an issue as you're out most of the day. "

"We loved Tony and Mena who were really friendly and nice with us and our kids. The place is quite dirty. The rooms are OK but the bathroom was really bad, moldy and dirty. No housekeeping until we left. In term of localisation it was really good as you are close to many things and can walk around. "

"The communications with this hotel were exceptional! They were quick to keep me posted on issues at airport, and went above and beyond to pick us up late in the evening and check us in. The staff members were wonderful, and the free breakfast was delightful. It is unfortunate that we were heading out the next day since the pool and surrounding areas were inviting. This is a great hotel in close proximity to Chiang Mai International Airport. I would not hesitate to make reservations here...

"Even by Four Seasons impeccable standard this property is next level. The tranquil and peaceful setting along with the attention to detail is other worldly and beyond any other luxury offering we have had the pleasure of experiencing. The views and vistas of the Chang Mai mountains along with with almost self sufficient 39 acres of lush and tropical grounds make for an interactive treat !"

"Pretty decent location and put you right into the action. Has nice live bar in front on the plaza. Only problem i had was the shower floor was engineered in correctly and doesnt drain water towards the drain, leaving a pool of sitting water after getting out of the shower."

"Lovely property with attentive staff that will go out of their way to assist you. The rooms are very comfortable, stylishish and clean. The staff was very helpful in arranging for a number of things for me, including hiring a private driner for some individual tours I wanted to do. I am traveling solo and appreciate that I felt safe and seen, which isn't always the case as a female traveler. Definitely get a Thai massage while you're here at the spa. I highly recommend. "
