"The room was very dark, so not the best for getting ready to go out. Everything else was good. Shower is great, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. They did run out of plates quite often and I had to hold up the queue for a bit while waiting for a plate. The coffee was ridiculous, my husband likes strong coffee but honestly it was like gravy, he had to put a whole milk jug in and it still wasn't really drinkable. No idea what went wrong there! A pleasant stay though. "

The hotel messaged me in advance of my stay to explain as it’s a town centre hotel it may be noisy but I found it very quiet. Service was very good but the management policy of not returning left policy after six months is petty - I left my iphone charger behind on my last stay, called on return home and was told the charger would be retained for my next visit - seems that despite the efforts of the staff to retuen my policy this was stopped due to a management edict citing six months.
