"The cabin was amazing. We skied Gore mountain 2 days. The drive was maybe 15 min. We appreciated the full kitchen set up. After full days of skiing we appreciated, relaxing by the fire and cooking. The waterfall behind the cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We would def stay here again. "

Easy drive to Gore Mountain!Cathy was an excellent host, and the check-in and check-out were convenient and stress-free.Close to the road and truck traffic therefore some car noise noticeable at night. "It was great to get some warm up runs in cross country skiing right out the front door, grab the included ski passes to Scotts Cobble right across the street for some nice laps on groomed trails. Definitely recommend this quiet getaway just a few minutes from downtown Placid."

The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty.
