The beds were very comfortable, the towels were large and fluffy, and everything was new and clean! We felt safe in walking around during the day, and enjoyed a walk along the river. "When I checked in - luckily I had a friend with me … Door 5 is in the shadows - and the only room in the building with a step in front of the door… it is the same color as the flooring and wall and I tripped on it and fell … never saw it and landed hard with a bag in my hand. If I’d have really gotten cut or severely injured - I’d have laid there a few days until someone came up there That needs some yellow tape or something to mark it so it can be seen!! Twisted one knee and scraped the other...

"We were just passing through and wanted affordable lodging that allowed us to explore and enjoy the town. The Blush Room was beautifully put together. Very clean with all the amenities (and more) needed for a couple of nights. We appreciated the quick walk down to the marina, and drinking coffee on the Inn grounds the next morning. Highly recommend for any couple or family!"

"The location was amazing and the price was good. The property seemed a bit neglected, kind of overrun with weeds, Stairway down to door not the safest, no real patio furniture to sit outside. The view was amazing and it was minutes to lake Michigan. The Size was decent however our biggest complaint was not having control over the temperature, thermostat. We had to text anytime we wanted the temp turned up or down. Especially annoying because the blower was right on top of the shower head and...

"Property appeared to be access to inland lake beach, but in recent months, a small mansion has been built right off the backyard. Updated photos should have been made available so customers can see exactly what they’re getting place was very average, landscaping, steps, and other maintenance items were not exactly what I have experienced in the past. I’m afraid I would not recommend this property in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive."
