"Simply paradise "

"The staff were wonderful. I loved how friendly and outgoing they were and they made it a point every day to make you feel welcome. The property is dated and needs some maintenance, but the views are breathtaking. The food at the buffet was delicious! The two cooks who made omelets every morning always had a smile on their faces and they were so friendly, even when some people were grumpy . I’ve never been at a resort where I loved almost everything. We enjoyed eating At Dorado , ocean point, and calypso. I appreciated the separation of families and adults and loved to be able to do activities, the beach and bars on both sides. I also enjoyed access to walk across other beaches. We thought there was a lot of variety in the restaurant choices as well as having snacks at the coffee shop and sports bar. The only negative thing was our swim out room was right on the end (busiest place) where the staff and guests walked by constantly and we had a lot of noise such as cleaning carts and conversations going by . The view and room itself was beautiful , I would just pick a different location next time. "

"Great stay at Grand Lido (the adults-only au-naturel section of the Royalton Negril). Facilities were very good across the resort - Grand Lido guests can use the facilities of the (family-friendly) Royalton and the (adults only) Hideaway. Restaurants try to cater for food allergies, and they ALWAYS asked for allergy details when seating us. Staff were generally really friendly and tried to help when asked. The Grand Lido has its own exclusive pool and decking area for au-naturel bathing and sunbathing, and this faces west so it catches the sun from mid-morning and thru the afternoon. Food and drinks are available at the pool grill and bar, and staff provide aqua aerobics and other entertainment for guests at the pool. Grand Lido hotel guests can also use the pools at Hideaway (beaches and decking for sunbeds faces east so gets morning sun) and the Royalton (2 pools and a long stretch of beach). Excursions were available to book on site, and the spa offered massages and hydrotherapy. Tons of restaurant options from buffet to TexMex, Italian, Japanese, Seafood, BBQ, Food Truck, Sports Bar, etc. There’s no need or reason to leave the resort except to enjoy an excursion or two. "

"Excellent getaway for my wife and I. The restaurant is excellent and we enjoyed many different breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences. They had top notch bartenders and we recommend the swim up pool bar with Dino and LT. We already plan on coming back and bringing friends. This is the best place to stay in Negril!"
