"Rooms are clean but very modest. Loved the beach but could have used more chairs. The volleyball court took too much space and could be better located (moved back closer to the fence) to allow for even more chairs beachside. Hated the music! It sounded like the same song over & over and it definitely shouldn't have been blaring at 6:45 in the morning where it could be heard inside the room. Overall a great trip. "

"Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room. Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!"

"This property is amazing! It is completely unique and so relaxing! We stayed in a raised hut. The view was gorgeous! It simply cannot be beat! "This was my second time back to the beautiful island, I love it there and will be going back. My only complaint would be due you covid and being under staffed the property is not fully operational. I think there needs to be more posting up of what is open, blocked off, available and so on posted for the visitors. That would make things a little easier as you walk around the property."

"The fact that our initial room was completely different than pictured was just a start. We have used HomeAway many, many times with “exceeded expectation” results but this one was a let down. "My husband and I spent 3 nights here in celebration of my 40th birthday. The grounds were lovely, as was our room. We had a wonderful view of the ocean! I also liked that everything on the resort was easily accessible. The AC unit was great and kept the room cool and comfortable. The mini bar included wine, soda, juice, water and tea/coffee. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. Upon entering our room, we noticed that we were only given 1 washcloth. We made multiple requests to the front desk but didn't receive additional washcloths until the following day. We encountered a few issues with the water in the room.It would shut off during our showers, especially during the morning hours. We also experienced some Wi-Fi connectivity issues which the staff was able to resolve in a day. I also had a small issue securing lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach. It seemed as though all of the lounges with umbrellas were reserved for the guests with butler service. There should be more lounge chairs with umbrellas available for all guests. One of my favorite features was the food trucks, one of which had fresh cookies daily. I loved the oatmeal raisin ones! Overall, the staff was friendly, the food and drinks were good and we enjoyed our stay."
