"This property and listing was perfect for our men's retreat weekend getaway. We gathered together and enjoyed being able to spread out in the spacious home. It was very close to a local park with a pool, basketball court, and open field. We also enjoyed grilling on the patio and using the fire-pit to roast s'mores in the evening. "The property was great for a weekend ski getaway to Hunter Mountain with friends. The house was custom built by the owners and has some great touches - hot tub, sauna, two kitches, wood burning fireplace - that made it a really fun place to stay with a group of friends. Peter also woke up early each morning to plow and salt the drive for us since the house was at the top of the hill. "Lisa was very friendly and responsive. There was a very sweet cat on the property however there was no hot water for longer than 7 minutes in the shower. No firewood for the fire pit or coals for the grill which was fine we just didn’t know before hand. One of the burners in the hotplate doesn’t work as well so it took a bit longer to cook. "

"The home is just as described. Kitchen was large, allowing lots of space for multiple people to work at the same time. The dining room provided more than enough space to play games and eat at the tables. The living room is one of the coziest I've encountered at rental house. "This Woodstock gem is a lovely and spacious getaway spot. We had plenty of room for two couples and our dogs to stay comfortably for multiple days. The house is very close to downtown Woodstock and has all of the amenities you could need. We particularly enjoyed the ping-pong table, fireplace, and hot tub. Additionally the host is responsive and cares about you having a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!"
