It was our first time staying at Shilla Stay Seodaemun Seoul Station and the experience was great! Prior to going over to Seoul, I had a few queries which I checked with the hotel directly and they were very responsive with their replies. We like the ambiance of the hotel where we felt cosy. The amenities provided by the hotel were basic but nonetheless sufficient for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impressive. We will definitely recommend Shilla Stay Seodaemun Seoul Station as an accommodation to other travellers intending to visit Seoul as a holiday destination. It is deceptive to call it "Shilla Stay Seodaemun Seoul Station Seoul, South Korea" as it is not walking distance to Seoul Station. It should be called "Shilla Stay Seodaemun Station, Seoul, South Korea"

Stayed in Shilla Stay Soedaemun from 26 Nov to 3 Dec 2024 for a family of 5. We stayed 2 rooms. Hotel is convenient. With Soedaemun station infront. Hotel is clean and nice looking. Love the toilet. The breadfast is good and comprehensive too. Will come again.

I liked the central location of the hotel, as well as the hospitality. However, the room on the 24th floor was unbearable hot to the point where we had to switch rooms but the problem remained. No ac/ proper circulation which led to the window having to be open 24/7 which still did not help. The towels also did not smell fresh a lot of the time.

Convenient location, quiet environment, staff very friendly&professional. However, property needs to be updated, furniture appeared to be old, cracked side table, 120v outlets so old and damaged, none of them worked properly in the room, my phone charger needed additional support to be plugged in unfortunately. My room was so much smaller than the picture, i was quiet disappointed. Hotel lobby was quiet small as well with only one handicapped restroom, appeared to have no regular restroom near the lobby.

Had a pleasant stay at Shilla Stay the staff was really accommodating and assisted us with our needs. Location was good to with lots of easy access to transportation and close by to Myeongdong, the size of the room is a quite small however it looked just like the pictures shown

Location is just right next to the subway so highly convenient. One small comment - pickup location (when u book an Uber/taxi) isn’t very clear / intuitive because the hotel doesn’t really have a typical wide lobby entrance. It’s on the side of the road next to the subway exit. Would be helpful to have a sign / map pin of sorts in the hotel to guide guests on transport options.

The majority of the front desk staff were unfriendly. They would t even look up or greet anyone as they entered or exited the hotel. Getting information from them about what is in the area, restaurants or tourist areas, seemed like an incovenience. Very disappointing!
