"The hotel was an easy walk from the train station & had welcoming staff to assist with your check-in. Room was comfortable with nice bedding. My only compliant would be the hard pillows. The Onsen was the highlight of the property. Beautiful surroundings, clean & had both indoor & outdoor spaces. Highly recommend ! "

"We picked this hotel to stay at while visiting Matsumoto because it was budget friendly and we were headed farther south to our next stop and I think it was a good pick except that the closest train was nearly a mile walk. Otherwise, the public bath, free buffet breakfast, eco-consciousness, and friendly staff made this stay great! As westerners we are used to a bit more space so the bathroom felt a little constricting but there was actually some closet space which we didn't have in some of our other smaller Japan lodging spots!
