"It was good. The room was spacious and the service we got from the staff pre and at check-in are flawless. It can be a bit of a challenge to get to the hotel from JR Kumamoto station with luggage as the tram is always full of people the station. But I really like the fact that it's close to the shotengai area and there are a lot of shops, restaurants and game centres around. "

"Wonderful view of the castle straight from the window. Very convenient location for visiting castle and ginza, and plenty of place to eat close to hotel. Only negative is I cannot park our car in the hotels parking lot due to it being long, although it's a regular size car. Offsite parking was not convenient and its a hit and miss and very tight parking spots."
