"Absolutely a beautiful spot to stay! And just what we wanted, a little spot off the beaten path. Beautiful place, gorgeous property and a sighting of the resident donkey! David, the owner met us for check in and provided information. Sufficient equipment in the kitchen to cook meals. Lovely to sit out on the porch to sip beverages and hear and see the birds. We were doing local hikes and taking in the sights at the national volcano park and it’s a 45 minute drive -very doable and lovely. And though the property description mentions that there is no Wi-Fi, we had great cell service. Would definitely recommend this place and we would like to come back!"

"It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again."

"Ivy's home is beautiful and very private! It was rooming and perfect for our family of 7. Everything is new and extremely clean, organized, with all the needed amenities and more. There is an ocean view private golf course in walking distance that will give guests passes and also has a clubhouse for meals, drinks, music, which we took advantage of. Ivy was very easy to communicate with and gave us great suggestions/recommendations. An added perk was renting their Ford Expedition! I hope to stay at their property again."

"This B&B has you living in the jungle among the tree tops. The birds singing during the day and the coqui frogs singing at night made for a truly authentic Hawaiian experience. All staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was always healthy and satisfying. Our room was comfortable and airy. The price was excellent but I strongly recommend booking directly through Dragonfly Ranch's owner. We hope to return soon. "

"We really enjoyed the unique decor and setup. Our room had a separate coffee and sitting area, which allowed one of us to wake up early. The facility also covers heat and cold really well, with different built in heaters, a fan and extra blankets. Only small gripe - it has a fancy TV built into the wall that would not turn off. We suggested that the facility provide directions. On a positive note, the facility gave great directions and reminders in other areas. So, definitely come here if you’re hanging out in Volcano and don’t mind quiet hours starting at 9 pm. The town shuts down early."
