"Despite it being described as a "hostel" it is not a hostel in the UK/US fashion. It is MUCH better. You are staying with a family. Who are great! I got my own private room, with my own private shower, toilet ensuite. I had a double and single bed - as I was on my own I only used the double which was very comfortable. "Havana Dream is a lovely oasis in Old Havana. The people were friendly and helpful. The only things which were not as advertised was that the bed is a queen and not king size but what we were told is that they don’t have king size. Also wifi is terrible in Cuba so it is not the 500 Mbps as advertised. More like 2-3 Mbps which I guess you get everywhere. It is safe and private."

"We stayed here as a step up from the casa particulars and hostals we stayed in earlier in the trip - we were homeward bound. THis is a hostal (small hotel) rather than private house.
