"This is the perfect home base to explore Havana. Exquisitely restored house in a residential area with the best staff and manager. I've stayed here several times. The service is the most personal, genuine and warm I've ever experienced! Each room is well appointed with beautiful antiques and decor, plus a/c and bathroom. "Our stay in this Hostal was memorable, and their staff made our stay in Havana and our whole trip in Cuba a great experience We were warried about the effect of the US economic Blockade against Cuba on local transport and accommodation, so we just booked our first hotel, based on reviews. The Blockade has certainly damaged Cuba, but it remains a beautiful country. We have to say that we were able to organise the rest our trip, from Havana all the way to Santiago de Cuba and back, thanks to the support from the staff at Hostal Colonial De Luca. Particularly from Diamela - who is knowledgeable, very skilled and really supportive and friendly. The Hostal is very good, with very clean very large rooms. The area is very interesting with some excellent restaurants nearby. Visiting Cuba has been a really amazing experience. Muchas gracias"
