"Lovely hot shower and the only place I stayed that didn't experience a power cut! So the air-conditioning worked and the room was nice and cool. The owner looked after my case and let me wait in reception for a couple of hours for my taxi to the airport. Only downside was rather a lot of mosquitoes and midges in the room, but they were everywhere in Cuba. I got bitten when I don't normally and ran out of spray (so bring plenty)."

"The landlord and staff were amazing and became my friends. I needed looking after as i was ill and had lost my luggage.
