"A joy to celebrate my husband's special birthday here. We enjoyed 3 nights of wonderful care and help from a brilliant, attentive reception team, especially Sara and Richard. "We enjoyed a one night stay here. Giacomo greeted us upon our arrival and provided instructions for bringing in the luggage and use of the apartment. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and were able to have dinner there. The view from the balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore was spectacular. There was a nice little outdoor area in front with some chairs. Giacomo was on standby for several questions by phone as we were getting settled in. "

Fabulous in every respect!

"Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again."

No communication, no directions, no parking

"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. The place itself is extremely difficult to find and an explanation is not given. The owner(s) are not able to explain, so you have to ask locals (who often are foreigners themselves and therefore not familiar with the neighborhood) or finally the police. The apartment itself is great (!), the security doors are a bit (too) much but gives you a safe stay."

"Initial impression was that main area of apt was smaller than in the pics, but still roomy enough for 4 adults - and view was great! Very clean, mattresses adequate, kitchen had all we needed, and within walking distance of stores, promenade, restaurants, etc. Elevator a plus for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues. We would stay here again."
