"This is truly an authentic Old Havana Property. The room is on the second floor. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge. The room has a balcony as shown in the picture that you can sit on. It sits on a busy street so you will get to hear all the authentic sounds of city life. The owner, Leidy, does a great job at welcoming you to the property and making sure you are situated. She has a lot of recommendations. If you are looking for a truly authentic downtown, old Havana property this is it....

"A very good for as a first timer in Havana. Alex the owner gets himself commited in day to day operation of the proerty with his pleasant staffs. You get both the hotel and home experience out if your stay. Good location in vibrant old town. Safety wise, far more safer area than I was concerned beforehand. "I booked a premium room and the pictures were different from the room that we received. We open the door to the room and it leads to a sink and a bathroom. There is a balcony inside the bathroom (shower area) and a small loft with a bed on the top. The bed was uncomfortable and we couldn't stay in the room. Wifi was almost non existent. Only plus point was it was walkable area. Wouldn't recommend. Only stay if you speak spanish and want to get charged for breakfast at the end of your stay. No...

"Staff was excellent in all respects; very responsive to requests. Rooms were clean and pleasant, if a bit small. Note that our room did not have exterior windows, and based on the layout, I'm guessing many/most of the rooms were like this. However, the rooftop lounge was very pleasant for hanging out if you wanted some fresh air and a view. The included breakfast was good. My only real criticism was that the area immediately around the hotel was not great — definitely not super clean and noisy at times. We didn't feel like it was a high-crime area or that we were in danger, but it was on the sketchy side. The hotel is a fairly short walk from Plaza Vieja, and there are a large number of restaurants within walking distance, ranging from so-so to very good."

"Had such a great experience here! The room was comfortable and the hosts were outstanding! They helped me book day trips and had an answer to every question I had. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Everyone here was so kind and welcoming, I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Havana again! "

"This is a step above sharing someone’s home, but with friendly helpful staff too. Lovely to see one of these beautiful old houses restored in an interesting if dishevelled street close to the seafront. Best bed we experienced in Cuba! Good breakfast and coffee. "

"This boutique is very quaint. The rooms were clean and we always felt safe and comfortable. The rooftop patio is a great little place to have a few end of the night drinks while still hearing the vibrant city life on the streets below. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "The Staff are extremely professional, hardworking, outstanding & amazing. Rafael, Fabio, Maria & another lady (sorry I don’t know her name) will turn a customer’s bad day to a good one in an instant. How can I forget Pavel (the chef). His efforts & food presentation is on another level. You are certainly going to have a fabulous day after eating his breakfasts. He invests his time to cook your meal personally for you once you arrive for breakfast and serves it hot & fresh, he doesn’t do cold buffet meals. I’m glad I met these guys, I don’t need to worry about thinking of a nice place to stay when I return to Havana. Alhabana is the easy & best choice. "
