"My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Montecarlo. We were greeted with friendly smiles and allowed to check in early since our room was ready. Amazing front desk staff greeting us when leaving and entering the hotel during our stay. The morning breakfast was excellent with several choices of coffee, tea and juices. Many choices for either hot or cold breakfast selections. Sad to leave after enjoying chocolate and croissants with cappuccino each morning. Easy walking distance to sights"

"I stayed here with my mother for 6 nights. The location was great and central. Definitely a tourist area but the concierge will have recommendations for good restaurants. The hotel was lovely with a roof top bar and snacks all day. The restaurant was delicious. The rooms were clean and serviced twice per day. No complaints. "

"Palazzo Barocci is a modern (in an ancient structure of course) supremely located upscale boutique hotel with commanding view on the Grand Canal of Venice. Definitely get a room with a view, preferably the junior suite. They are located right next to the S. Angelo vaporetto stop, and close to the Rialto Bridge. From behind the property, you walk back toward San Marco square. This hotel has everything a boutique could offer, because you have the view and location, and the property itself is well appointed. We've stayed here twice because it's hard to beat. The room is great. The breakfast garden is very nice. Breakfast is fine but a little smaller than some other properties. Staff is very helpful. "
