"Gorgeous historic canal house, great host and fantastic location."

"We spent our last five nights at MercedesB&B. The location was really handy to many attractions in Amsterdam. Isobel was very helpful, and with just a mention she had already ordered our ride to the airport five days later, at no cost to us. Breakfast was included at a lovely restaurant/coffee shop about one block away. Both she and her husband were a wealth of information. I hope we have this same luck getting accommodation when travelling to other destinations."

"As extensive travelers, we often use VRBO for accommodations. I must say that Steve’s place has been one of the best. The space is everything he describes and more. Steve communicated so well from the start. From his directions to arrive as well as the time he spent checking us in to his home, was above and beyond. "We stayed 3 nights with our 10 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay. There are not a lot of recent reviews for this location and some things seem to have been updated. 1) This is an apartment and not a hotel. It has a kitchen and washer/dryer available for use (both of which were very helpful). There is a 2nd bedroom that is locked off and used by the owner's adult son during the day. However, we only saw him once and this was not an issue for us as our bedroom and private bathroom had a lock for...

"The four of us had a fantastic stay! Our host was easy to contact and was very nice, helpful and informative. As with most European private accommodations, there are stairs. One set up to the unit and one more to the second floor where the bedrooms and full bathroom are located.
