"I do not agree with the bad reviews. This place has so much soul. Love all the old natural original woodwork throughout the building . Rooms were perfectly clean and front desk agents were amazing. Especially when I locked myself out of my room in my nightgown lol 😳I give this place two thumbs up. Only con was rooms were a little dark. "

"The checkin was completely self serve with a text giving me a code to enter my room. The location is within walking distance to some places to eat or shop. I was given a link to a website that provided everything you need to know. Shelbyville is a cute small town. I visited several of the shops downtown and everyone was welcoming and helpful. "

"Great location in the middle of the lake near Lone Point and Eagle Creek to put your boat in, both have nice fish cleaning stations. Easy access to fish the North or South end of the lake. Accomodations were excellent. Beds comfortable. Great space! "
