"This Riad is lo ated i side the Medina so its advisable to call ahead 20 minutes prior to arrival so a porter can take you and your luggage directly through the maze that is the Fez medina. The hotel can book a private 4 hour tour of the medina with a local guide for $40 Euro and ask if Omar can guide for you. Well worth it! "Lovely big old building with antique furniture, lots of wood and mozaïc everywhere. The atrium alone is worth an overnight stay. Located 40 steps from a busy street on the edge of the soukh. Probably has the best view of the whole neighborhood. I recommend going on the roof early in the morning to take in the calls to prayer coming from every angle. But the best part of this place is the staf, very kind, hospitable, and helpful."
