"This hotel is amazing. The room and swimming pool were spotless, and I appreciated being allowed to check in early. All the staff were welcoming and kind. A special thanks to Mr. Hassan, who arranged activities for us and helped us find a supermarket. The breakfast was delicious, and my kids especially loved the pasta! :) If I visit Merzouga again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for making our experience so memorable."

"What a wonderful magical place! This is the second camp we have stayed at in Merzouga and this one was a much different experience — private, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The staff was excellent, attentive to every need. Meals were served one on one, and it was some of the best food we’ve had in all of Morocco. "Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!"

"We had a great stay in the suite, there was good closet space, living room space, a king bedroom and a fairly large bathroom. Hotel uses the middle eastern style bidet (no hose or toilet automation). WiFi was good when the hotel wasn’t busy. Nice pool area, no gym on property. For the suite, the TV only faces the bedroom leaving a mirror on the living room side. There are modern outlets at the beds for charging, but found the normal power plugs are still faster."

"The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around.
