"Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"Great location, beds a bit firm for my liking but it’s all personal preference. 2nd bedroom was turned into single beds but the positioning of the beds meant that the door didn’t close fully. Also the hall light was on a sensor and couldn’t find a switch to stop it - not great in the middle of the night when the door doesn’t close."

"Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"
