"The home itself is very nice, the pool is wonderful and the neighborhood is very quiet. We were very happy. The location near the beach and the town of Deshais is excellent. I would highly recommend renting Villa Toudou."

"The house is directly on the beach, the view is stunning, the deck has comfortable chaires. This beach is never crowded and very quite. There is a sandy part perfect for children, and rocky part perfect for snorkling. The most famous beaches, Perl and Grand anse are on tbe right and on the left, 10 minutes and 20 minutes walking distance. The trail to Grande anse is so beatiful! House has everything for cooking if you decide to cook at home. I cannot imagine the better place!"

"La maison de Béatrice est très belle et confortable. Bien décorée , fonctionnelle et très calme.A l'ombre l'après-midi, elle met a l'abri des grosses chaleurs. Son emplacement permet de visiter en moins d'une heure les sites touristiques de Grande Terre et même une bonne partie de ceux de Basse Terre.La petite plage de Babin à 5 minutes en voiture est très agréable. De plus , les propriétaires sont très discrets et sympathiques..A recommander sans hésiter."

"We had a great stay at Madame Gochaye's rental, very clean and modern, the pool is fantastic for young kids and the deck is great for relaxing. Definitely need a car as it's located a short drive out of Sainte-Francois. The hosts were very welcoming and it was lovely to be greeted with some local rum punch and snacks when we arrived. We were a family of four and it was perfect for us, the listing notes that it can accommodate six but I think it would be quite cramped with more than four. Only...

"On VRBO app the location stated we were a 5 min walk to the St Anne beach. We had difficulty communicating with the French speaking host and they had to come and lead us to the property in the dark. It was 20 minutes up the mountain on poor road conditions. We contacted the VRBO rep in the am and they connected with Abritel. We were given a partial refundrefunded The host was very gracious and understanding that we wanted to relocate."

"We stayed for a week as a family of 8 including 3 teens. The open nature of the house was wonderful! Being able to wander out to the pool or lounge on the covered porch or walk down to snorkel across the street was divine. The kitchen had all we need. The host was so welcoming and provided a welcome meal and a delightful punch on our last day. The one time we had an issue they fixed it immediately! The location was both quiet and convenient for St Francis, Sainte Anne and other areas of Grande...

"The listing said daily house keeping and breakfast was provided but it wasn't. The actual title of the house said that as well. The owner told me to contact VRBO but they have nothing to do with what the listing says. He then stopped responding. Everything else was as described and the house is clean and specious."

Points of concern, a fully stocked kitchen should have a chef’s knife, tongs, spatula and adult size cocktail glasses. Ice cube trays or ice would be appreciated. Un repas nous a ete proposé a notre arrivé ce qui a été fort apprécié. Le repas était de qualité et généreux. "We enjoyed a very restful vacation at the Villa Ponm Kann 'L in Deshaies. The view was lovely. The house was very clean and well equipped. The covered deck was an added bonus as unfortunately we had rain almost everyday but we were able to be outside with out getting wet. Easy walk to the bakery. We felt very safe and quiet in the neighborhood. A car is required to get groceries and go to the beaches and other activities. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return."

"Reception/check-in was pleasant and professional. Zenitude Hotel is divided in two main sections: Clipper and Residence Salako. I was in Clipper. This section requires a lot of renovation and clean-up. The bathroom was unbelievably dirty. There was mouldy grime between the tiles in the shower cubicle and the bathroom floor.I had to buy AJAX and a scrubbing brush to clean it off. The room was not so bad. "The resort is ver well staffed- there is always someone to assist with anything you need. They make good use of the very tiny beach but once you are in the resort you are a captive audience- nothing close by for eating, drinking, shopping, etc. we had a car but traffic was challenging and you certainly are not going to drive after a few beers 😳"

"What a great set up! 3 restaurants, 2 Bars, 2 Private Beaches, 2 Private pools! Awesome! The management team, went above and beyond for me! They didn’t have to do half of the stuff they did for me.
