"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. "Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. "
