"This lodge is magical. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful break this lodge has got everything. Built with passion and love. It’s quirky and you don’t need for anything. About a 6 min walk to the local shops pubs and restaurants. Paul and Jude were fantastic hosts. Aim to please . "

"one of two shepherds hut situated at the top of field/garden with a two person hot tub which was lovely in the evening watching the stars above on the clear night, the hut itself is lovely and cosy with a small woodburner (lighter, kindle and logs supplied) and everything you needed was supplied. There are sheep fenced off in the middle of the field with surrounding apple trees and a stream at the bottom and chickens to the side. Had a great stay with our two small dogs -thank you "

"Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up."

"It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to celebrate turning 60 with husband, two adult children and the dog! Booked only a week before so only had two nights... we should have booked longer. Planning to return very soon. The lodge is very comfortable with high end finish pretty much throughout. It is very spacious and yet cosy... we loved the covered decking outside. "All 16 of us (6 adults, 10 kids) absolutely loved this house, as did our puppy.The house had everything we needed and the kids loved arriving to a delicious tray of rocky road.The pool (which is larger than the photos do justice) and hot tub are warm and perfect for everyone to enjoy on a cold February week in Devon.We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon..
